My name is Marit. I’m a 19-year-old journalism student from the Netherlands. Alongside my passion for writing, photography is one of my favorite things to do. I love concerts and festivals, basically anything related to music. Being able to combine my love for music and photography is truly one of the coolest things.
I’ve been passionate about photography for years. I started by capturing flowers, plants, and portraits of family members, but now I mainly focus on concert photography. I love trying to capture the atmosphere, energy, and movement of a show as clearly as possible in a single image.
There’s something magical about capturing joy and warmth through my lens. I like to look beyond just the artist so I search for the small, meaningful moments that make each show unique: an artist pointing into the crowd, an emotional fan, a shared connection.
Every show is different, and that’s exactly what makes it so exciting. I constantly adapt to new environments and lighting conditions. Each show is a new opportunity to capture the perfect shot.
